Take responsibility
Mental depression is worse than an economic recession. One has to take responsibility to sail over this and help others around them. So as far as depression is concerned, don't think it is your karma. You can do something about it.
Don’t just sit and keep thinking
So don’t just sit and keep thinking about yourself. 'What will happen to me?' What is going to happen to you? You keep thinking about it and get depressed. You are here in this world to do some work for society. You have come into this world to do the work of God. Understand this and be a part of any seva activity. Practice Sudarshan Kriya and meditation. Keep doing Sudarshan Kriya for some time and see how much change happens.
Know that your life is precious
Your life is so precious. Don’t lose it. When you meditate, all the past scars that have been bothering you, and that made your life miserable will be gone in no time. You should value yourself more than anything else in the world because you are the centre of your world.
Wake up
What are you depressed about? Wake up and see. Anyway, all of us are going to die, drop the body here. The rest of the time that I am on this planet, should I not be happy and spread happiness around me? Instead of wanting something, can I be in the position to give? If nothing, I can at least give blessings to everybody. When you are determined to do some good thing in your life, and give away some good vibrations, your depression is out of the window.
